Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev welcomed their beautiful baby boy Matteo this year, and the pair have been loving every bit of parenting. However, the pregnancy journey was not an easy one for them. In the season premiere on November 12, Nikki revealed the nurse noticed a speak on Matteo's heart.

Unfortunately, the nurse did not know enough and asked Nikki to wait for her doctor to call. After being informed, Nikki struggled to keep calm and was quick to tell Artem about what had happened. The pair was worried and hoped things would be fine. Nikki admitted she felt like it was her fault. Growing up, Nikki was informed she had a heart condition, but it was not something to worry about. Keeping this in mind, she wondered if there was a possibility that she could have transferred that to her son. Speaking to Artem, Nikki admitted it was hard for her to not blame herself for what was happening.

However, Artem asked her to wait until she got a call from the doctor. After talking to Artem, Nikki decided to talk to her sister Brie Bella. Brie advised Nikki to talk to her doctor rather than waiting for her doctor to call after days. Nikki made it clear she felt more comfortable hearing it from her doctor rather than someone else. Finally, Nikki and Artem decided to head to New York for a day in a bid to get all the answers. They were relieved to find out that the speck was not a cause of concern. The doctor informed them that the speck just meant the baby was growing.

Once they got all the answers, Nikki and Artem came back home. However, their worries were far from over. Even though they were happy to find out Matteo was in good shape, the next big question for them as if they should have the baby in Arizona. Nikki revealed her insurance was in Arizona, and it would be expensive for them to have a child in New York.

The pair knew there were some tough decisions for them to make ahead of welcoming their son.

'Total Bellas' Season 6 airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on E!
