'Total Bellas': Nikki's relationship with her mom sours after Artem is excluded from family photo
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev's relationship has been questioned by her family time and again and in the upcoming episode, things are about to get more complicated within the family. While Nikki has already accepted Artem as part of the family, it looks like her mother, Kathy Laurinaitis is still finding it hard to fully accept him.
In a sneak peek for the next episode of 'Total Bellas', Nikki and Artem were invited for family dinner by his brother, JJ Garcia. While his sister, Brie Bella was also waiting for Nikki and Artem to show up, there was no sign of the couple. As it turns out, Nikki and Artem decided to go on a dinner of their own rather than settling for meeting the family.
Nikki seemed happy to spend some time with Artem while also showing off his skills by revealing he holds a Guinness World record. He achieved 79 Botafogo dance steps in 30 seconds for which the Russian dancer was awarded the record. In the middle of her time with Artem, she gets a call from Brie asking her if she would be coming home for dinner and Nikki hinted she did not want to be around her family during a time when a lot has been going on.
The reality star confessed she was not too happy about Garcia accusing her of not spending enough time with his children. Garcia did not seem too pleased that Nikki spent a lot of her time with Brie's child, Birdie. He felt like his children were not getting the same attention.
Nikki confessed she did not want to be in the middle of this argument as coming there would mean she would have to think twice before spending time with Birdie or anyone else. To make things worse, Nikki was not too happy about her mother Kathy suggesting that Artem should not be a part of the family photo.
Kathy thought it wasn't a good idea to include Artem in the picture because he was not part of the family yet. Nikki did not seem too pleased with his reply given the fact that they are madly in love. She did not appreciate her mother excluding Artem being well aware of what their relationship is like.
While Kathy seems to have no remorse over her decision, will this put a dent in Nikki and her relationship?
