Nikki and Brie Bella have mended their relationship with their father, Jon Garcia, but there are some things that are yet to be spoken about. They decided to meet Jon to celebrate the news about their pregnancy. Jon admitted he knew Brie was serious but doubted Nikki when she broke the news to him.

Jon revealed he thought Nikki was playing a prank on him. However, he added that it was a joyful occasion and he was happy to hear the news. Nikki further added that she would be throwing a Mexican-themed gender reveal party because she is a Mexican while Brie stated she was keeping it a surprise this time around. While Nikki wanted her father to be a part of the celebration, she knew her mother and brother were not ready to see him there. She apologized to him and hinted she would have loved it if things were a different way and he could join the celebration. The duo then decided to open up about the book they were writing and the chapters that involved Jon.

Last time, when the conversation had come up, Jon decided to dismiss it. However, it was important for Nikki and Brie to talk to their father about the chapter where they have spoken about how they felt after being abandoned, to make sure nothing came as a shock to him. Jon admitted that he was fine with what was written as he is a changed man now who is making an effort.

He further revealed that the path he had chosen was influenced by the childhood he had lived. Jon revealed his mother abandoned him because of an addiction and his father would rather party than take care of him. Considering that is the life he lived, Jon admitted that the things that had happened with him in childhood made him a bad person and he carried this burden until he was old and formed an opinion that he would hurt others because he was hurt himself. He admitted that he was hurt and took the path of addiction himself and that led him to abandon his kids. However, Jon knew now what a bad decision that was and apologized to both of them. Jon admitted he was proud to be in a position where he can look at the mirror and pinpoint where he went wrong and not blame anyone else for it.

Brie and Nikki were happy to see their father in a better place and as the three continued to have dinner, they knew their relationship was better now.

'Total Bellas' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on E!
