Tory Lanez hires Case Anthony and Aaron Hernandez lawyer Jose Baez, Internet says 'this is not over'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tory Lanez hired famous defense attorney, Jose Baez in addition to two other attorneys, David Kenner and Matthew Barhoma to represent him in the appeal in Megan Thee Stallion's shooting case.
The rapper is currently facing 22 years in prison, and possible deportation. The sentencing has been pushed to February 28th as he has hired a new team for the appeal. Meanwhile, Baez is popular for representing football player Aaron Hernandez in the murder case of Odin Lloyd, as per Hollywood unlocked. Baez got him acquitted of all charges in this case. He was also famous for representing Case Anthony in the murder of a two-year-old child Caylee Anthony in 2011.

According to The Baez law firm, where he works as the Chief Executive Officer, "Jose A. Baez is an experienced trial lawyer who has represented clients in the full range of criminal and civil cases." He has represented many celebrities in different cases, however, they would like to keep their identity anonymous. Baez had also represented millionaire and businessman Gary Giordano in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner. Further, he was named 'Lawyer of the Year for 2011' by LawyersUSA magazine and also named one of the 'Top 100 Trial Lawyers' for 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He is estimated to have a net worth of $5 million, reported Alux. He has also authored a book, ' Presumed Guilty'. He attended Homestead High School in Florida but dropped out in the ninth grade. Later, he obtained a General Equivalency Diploma and joined US Navy in 1986. He left the navy in 1989 and studied at Florida State University for his graduation. In 1997, he received his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. However, he was denied admission to the Florida Bar due to financial irresponsibility.
