'Top Chef' can be uncertain, more so for the viewers. It's hard to predict eliminations and often, it's devastating when your favorite contestant has been shown the doors. The fans are visibly upset over Jamie Lynch's ouster.

Some thought he would go further into the competition but his journey was cut short by a block of overcooked chicken that was also very dry because of the lack of sauce. Jamie did get a shot at reclaiming his spot on the show with 'Last Chance Kitchen,' but lost to Joe Sasto, the chef who was eliminated in the premiere episode of this season.

After the quickfire challenge, the chefs were sent off to the Getty Museum to get a good grasp on the art movements because their elimination round would be based on them. The contestants were divided into teams of three and each given a movement that they would represent through food — it could be through the depth of the flavors used or plating.

Renaissance, Neo-Classicism, Rococo, and Baroque were the four art forms that the judges — Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons — were looking at. While one of the guests shared it was overcooked for her taste, Tom thought it was leaning towards Rococo and not a true representation of the art movement Jamie was assigned (which was Baroque). Padma kept it simple with her comment, said: "It was not Baroque, it was broke."

Meanwhile, the decision hurt fans quite a bit and they shared their views about the elimination very openly on social media.

"Ok this elimination hurts a lot. I really wanted Jamie to go far and redeem himself especially from how he was eliminated on his season.  #TopChef," one wrote, while another shared:  "I swear Jamie’s kryptonite is chicken. He’ll be back. I can see him running through LCK. #TopChef."  The fans were clearly hoping Jamie would be back since he has a history of winning the 'The Last Kitchen' challenges but this time he lost to Joe.

"Chef Jamie, huh. I honestly did not see that coming #topchef," a viewer expressed, while another posted: "Aw man I feel bad Jamie couldn’t finish playing #TopChef."
