'Top Chef' All Stars LA: Release date, trailer, plot and all you need to know about Bravo's food competition series

If you've got an appetite for another round of fierce food competition, keep reading as Bravo TV is all set to bring top chefs under one roof, contesting for a big cash prize and lots more. 

Release date

This time 'Top Chef' moves to the City of Angels with All-Stars LA. The show is all set to premiere on March 19, Thursday, 10/ 9 c. 

Plot

The show will return with 10 finalists and 5 front runners who will get to contest for the title of 'Top Chef' and upon winning, will walk away with a massive cash prize of $250,000. In addition to this, the winner also gets to appear at the annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen and will be eligible for a feature in FOOD & WINE magazine.  

Apart from being challenged with food trends that have taken over LA, the contestants will be tasked with cooking for celebrity guests such as Ali Wong, Randall Park, Kelly Clarkson and such. What's more, the chefs will get to create their works of art while at iconic locations each time. The Griffith Observatory, The Getty Center, The Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the LA Coliseum are some of the sites that have been chosen for the show. And, in a first, the finale will be held in Italy.

'Top Chef' will see Padma Lakshmi as its host and have Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons on board as judges.
