NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Carson Daly has playfully teased co-host Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin over a unique Christmas outfit.

The two hosts took Christmas tree hats during a recent ‘Today’ segment as they reported live from ‘Today’ Plaza.

Host Al Roker, Melvin, Daly, Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb hosted a Christmas segment with the audience who wore unique outfits that led to a savage remark from one of the hosts.

Early in November, Daly announced that the second season of ‘Barmageddon’ was confirmed, and the show would be hitting the road for a tour.

The official Barmageddon Instagram account shared a new poster revealing some of the upcoming tour dates.

The caption read, “Mark your calendars! We're bringin' the fun and games to you! Come out, spin the wheel, and play some games! We throw a hell of a party. More details to come. #Barmageddon."

During Wednesday's episode of the ‘Today’ Show, Carson Daly, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker presented live from the 'Today' Plaza.

In the subsequent segment, both Guthrie and Melvin appeared wearing the Christmas tree toppers, humorously inquiring if they could borrow them for later in the day.

Daly, upon seeing them, couldn't resist making a witty remark. "You look like Christmas coneheads," he quipped, barely containing his laughter.

The comment prompted laughter from everyone present, with Roker acknowledging, “That’s a throwback,” as Daly pointed at him and shared a laugh.

Guthrie chimed in saying, “You have to have a lot of neck strength for these.”

The hosts continued with the segment as Guthrie and Melvin still wore the hats on until they went to the commercial.

A clip from the original movie played, featuring Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried), and Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert).

In the scene, Regina, Karen, and Gretchen are in Regina's car, and Regina honks at Cady, saying, "Get in loser. We're going shopping."

Kotb, 59, responded with a chuckle and a "God."

Daly, ever the teaser, playfully commented on his co-host's reaction, saying, "That's how Hoda picks up Savannah."
