Timothee Chalamet dared to arrive shirtless at the Academy Awards, fans say his outfit was inspired by Jungkook.

Timothee Chalamet took a bold decision to attend the 94th Academy Awards shirtless. He showed plenty of skin as he was spotted wearing an open blazer on Sunday, March 27 on the Oscars red carpet.

This 26-year-old actor was spotted in a shimmery cropped black blazer that had lace trim. This piece of clothing had been picked out from Nicolas Ghesquière's SS/22 womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week.

The New York native struck poses outside the Dolby Theatre as he paired the shiny blazer with some matching pants and his patent leather ankle boots. Apparently, these boots are Timothee's favorites. As for accessories, he put on a Cartier pendant necklace but wrapped it twice around his neck. There was an overload of rings on his fingers by the same luxury jeweler. 

Back in 2018, he once said, "I hear about celebrities who have stylists, and that blows my mind. It's certainly not why I act, but I can wear cool clothes from some of the nicest designers in the world. So why am I going to pay someone to figure out what I should be wearing? That's the fun part."

His fans were overjoyed to see so much of Timothee's bare skin as he walked the red carpet. He captured some fun selfies with his fans as they were waiting in the stands. The 26-year old actor also greeted Jesse Plemons. Plemons had been nominated for best supporting actor for the movie 'The Power of the Dog' for his character as the wealthy ranch owner George Burbank.

Though Chalamet was not nominated, the movie he starred in 'Dune', as House Atreides ducal heir Paul Atreides was nominated for 10 Oscar categories and swiped six awards for the night. Fans scanned his outfit and some BTS fans aka Army noticed how the star may have borrowed his style statement from Jungkook. One said, "OMYGOD I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT TIMOTHÉE ACTUALLY REMINDED ME OF JUNGKOOK COZ OD HIS WAIST LAJAHAHAH". The outfit reminded fans of Jungkook’s outfit from BTS' Seoul concert. Jungkook wore a similar outfit at the Permission To Dance On Stage Seoul concert for Fake Love. One ARMY wrote: "Timothee Chalamet @RealChalamet is just one body chain away from being part of @BTS_twt #fakelove performance."

Another said, "Both are obviously inspired heavily by the tannies. I love Timothée so hoping he'll own up to being a secret Jungkooker. Would make me love him more." Viewers also felt Joe Jonas may have also borrowed his Oscar night look from BTS' J-Hope.

Comparisons aside an offended user said, "This is offensive don’t ever do that to Timothée ever again." Another said, "He's a handsome young man and rocks this outfit. Another conflicting view was, "That's terrible. Send him home to get a shirt. #Oscars"
