Why is ‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Episode 7 ‘There’ delayed again? Here's what to expect when the NBC show returns
Another break?! ‘This Is Us’ seems to be taking one too many hiatuses and fans can't handle it anymore. Leaving a cliffhanger hanging in the air, the promo of the next episode hints at a car crash and viewers can't help but think the worst. Last week, there was a break and there's no new episode tonight as well.
Teasing fans, the official handle posted, “Timeout. We need more Pearsons on the feed. Show us your favorite #ThisIsUs photos or GIFs in the replies.” And in another tweet, they said, “As expected, the show is renewed for a sixth and last season by @NBCNews! #ThisIsUs.”

Why is ‘This Is Us’ airing a repeat telecast?
It's sad to have another break and ‘This Is Us’ fans are quite irked. Dan Fogelman explained the reason behind the break and posted, Hey all - so #ThisIsUs is a repeat again tonight as we catch back up... more info coming soon. Working hard (and safely) to get back with new episodes soon. Thanks for the patience and the lovely (mostly) notes.
Soon, many fans responded to him and bombarded him with a bunch of questions. One angry fan said, “Still puzzling that the show took a 1.5-month break before the holidays and after 4 episodes. Also would be nice if the show actually didn't flout covid protocols in episodes (Kate going to SD and talking to a stranger with no mask on or NOLA trip?).” And another said, “She didn’t get close to Mark and they clearly said they quarantined and drove straight to and from the man in NOLA’s house. He quarantined and tested too.”

‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Episode 7 ‘There’ Spoilers
Titled ‘There’, the summary of the new episode reads, “Kevin embarks on a stressful road trip; Jack and young Kevin go to a football training camp.” What's more, a 16-second promo shows car number AB09043 involved in a crash and we hear Kevin's voice as he says (seemingly in a 9-1-1 call), “My fiancé right now is in labor and I need to get to her.”
Another phone call conversation between Kevin and Madison goes like: “I'm coming right now, okay?” after which she tells him, “Please just get here, Kevin.” It seems like Madison will die during labor and fans can't get over that thought. Towards the end of the clip, we see Kevin's ID card lying somewhere there. Is his ID card the reason why he gets delayed and isn't able to see Madison? Well, only time will tell.
When will Season 5 Episode 7 air?
‘This Is Us’ premiered on Tuesday at 9 pm ET on NBC after the mid-season winter break with Episode 5 titled ‘A Long Road Home’ on January 5, 2021. There will be a two-week break before the next one Episode 7 titled ‘There’ — initially scheduled for January 19, 2021 — is telecasted on February 2, 2021.
Some fans feel it's worth the wait. “I'm ok with the break because that last new episode about Randall and his birth mother gutted me. It was beautiful but heartbreaking when he realized that he really was loved by her,” one tweet read and another said, “We really do need the time to recover.”
‘This Is Us’ should bring the new episode next week hopefully! Tired of waiting? Don't give up yet. Binge-watch the Season 5 episodes on NBC.com and the NBC App. Not just that, you can stream old seasons on Amazon Prime too.
