'The Walking Dead' trailer teases introduction of 'The Whisperers' for upcoming season 9
'The Walking Dead' panel at this week's San Diego International Comic-Con was arguably one of the most awaited, and fans were not disappointed. The first trailer for the upcoming season 9 of the post-apocalyptic trailer dropped, and at 5-and-a-half minutes long, it was packed with information on how events may unfold. While there were no clues to how Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes would bid goodbye — the actor had previously confirmed his departure after the conclusion of season 9 — there was an easter egg that indicated the season will welcome an iconic group from the comics.
The end of season 8 saw Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira) take a decision to spare Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The decision did not sit well with Maggie (Lauren Cohan), who lost her husband Glenn (Steven Yeun) to the psychopath's rampage.
