'The Walking Dead' Season 10: Negan might kill Alpha and take over the Whisperers before the season wraps up

There are few constants in the world of 'The Walking Dead' but one thing that never changes, no matter what, is that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has always been and always will be a cunning psychopath who plays everyone around him, even when they think they're the ones playing him. We know it, he knows it, but apparently Alpha (Samantha Morton) still hasn't figured it out and it's bound to come back and bite her. And unlike a Walker bite, when Negan gets you, you stay down.
Granted, Alpha isn't exactly opening her heart up to Negan but hey, they did have a super awkward sex scene together in Episode 9 and that's got to count for something, even to a zombie loving psycho like her. Right now, Negan has gained at least a fraction of Alpha's trust by ratting out Gamma (Thora Birch) and even if Alpha thinks sex is all it takes to keep him under control, we all know he's got his own agenda as always.
The obvious possibility is that he will bide his time until he can take out Alpha and usurp leadership of the Whisperers. This does seem like the most logical thing to do, especially because he's going to want to kill Alpha before she can start questioning his true intentions.
In the meantime, Negan will probably try and weed out any competition that might arise by tricking Alpha into executing his enemies and anyone who might open Alpha's eyes to his deception. If he does manage to take over leadership of the Whisperers that's bound to cause a lot of trouble for all the other survivors. Considering just how terrifying the Whisperers have been under Alpha's leadership, we can only imagine what horrors they might unleash if placed in the hands of someone like Negan.
