Next up in the battle round of ‘The Voice’ Season 19 saw Marisa Corvo and Ryan Gallagher going head to head from Kelly Clarkson’s team. The contestants covered the song ‘I Surrender’ from Celine Dion. All the judges seemed completely mesmerized as they were seen thoroughly enjoying their performances.

While speaking to the singers, Blake asserted that Ryan might be a trained vocalist but Marisa completely filled the room. Gwen Stefani also praised both the singers. After noting down key points from their performances, Kelly Clarkson opted for Marisa Corvo adding that they were both incredible and it was extremely difficult to pick the final one. However, before Ryan Gallagher could exit the stage, coach Kelly saved Ryan from going home. Now, both Marisa Corvo and Ryan Gallagher will move to the Knockout round.

Social media users were quick to react on the battle round of Marisa Corvo and Ryan Gallagher. Speaking on the same, one user tweeted, “Loving Kelly Clarkson pirate look on The Voice. Meanwhile, Ryan Gallagher with Marisa Corvo screeching like chalk on a blackboard during Surrender duet literally sounded tone deaf off key and kelly telling them they sounded great is NOT doing them a favor. @TheVoiceABSCBN”

Talking about Ryan, one said, “KELLY THANK GOD YOU SAVED HIM!!!!!!! Omg he is awesome and delivered without even going overboard trying like she was doing. Sorry but she was over bored trying , I’m so happy you saved him, he was the winner to me big time.”

Another added, “OMG!!! It was unbelievable! I got chills through the entire song. Excellent!!!” One posted, “@marisa_corvo has a PHENOMENAL stage presence but @RyanDGallagher’s voice is so powerful! I’d hate to be @kellyclarkson right now. @NBCTheVoice #TheVoice #VoiceBattles”
