‘The Voice’ Season 19 is finally here and judges are back pressing the big buzzer and turning their big red chairs to choose the contestant they want in their teams. Kelly Clarkson managed to get the talented singer Joseph Soul in her team after he performed Bob Marley's ‘Is This Love?’ He not only looked dapper but also floored judges Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton as they were the first one to turn their red chairs.

Even though Gwen Stefani and John Legend did not turn their chairs, Gwen praised Joseph Soul for the creative style and how he pulled one of the Bob Marley’s greatest songs. She said, “It was really creative. I have never heard this song sung like that.” Adding a little humour, Kelly Clarkson joked that she thought the cover song was from Britney Spears. Joseph had to choose between Blake and Kelly, and even though both of them tried convincing the new contestant, he opted for #TeamKelly.

Joseph also got a lot of appreciation from the world of Twitter. One user said, “Lovely rendition of Bob Marley’s ‘This is Love’ by Joseph Soul on #TheVoice”. Another got disappointed and said, “Didn't like that version of Bob Marley from Joseph — it lost all its rhythm and groove.” One individual added, “I loved this version of a Bob song!!” Another user posted, “How was that not a 4 chair turn? This guy can sing!!! Congrats on a terrific performance!”

Apart from the singing skills of the contestants, fans will also notice a few changes in the show due to the unfortunate global pandemic. The coaches sit farther apart and host Carson Daly will also keep his distance. ‘The Voice’ Season 19 premiere episode is currently being aired on NBC. Fans can also catch the reality show on the official website of NBC and on their official app along with the network's new streaming service Peacock.

Todd Tilghman was announced as the last season's winner from Team Blake. At the age of 42, he is the oldest winner in the series history, a record previously held by Josh Kaufman.
