'The Voice' season 16 finale: Maelyn Jarmon performs an original song and fans say she's a winner already

Though Blake Shelton has the most number of people from his team in the finale, Jarmon from Team John Legend is the frontrunner this season finale with the highest chance of winning.

The wait is over, as 'The Voice' season 16 grand finale is here! 

On Monday night, the series aired its grand finale with the Top 4 performing three songs each - a cover song, a duet with their coaches and their original song. This season, Blake Shelton's team is leading with three contestants in the finale. John Legend has one contestant from his team in the finale. Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson have no singers in from their team advancing into the final four.

Maelyn Jarmon, Dexter Roberts, Gyth Rigdon, and Andrew Sevener are the finalists this season. During and after the performances, fans and viewers will be able to vote for their favorite contestant via 'The Voice' app or online. Voting is open till 7 a.m. ET Tuesday. The results will be revealed on Tuesday night when 'The Voice' airs live again with a star-studded lineup that include BTS, The Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift and many more.

Last week, Jarmon's performance was the most streamed song on the iTunes charts. Fans are already rooting for Jarmon to win the title this season, and after hearing her perform her original song in the finale on Monday night, fans couldn't have enough of it as they reveal their support for the finalist. 

Titled 'Wait For You' her original song leaves one with goosebumps. After watching her perform, fans took to Twitter and revealed their support for the contestant. "Amazing performance and your voice has confidence and positivity plus I can't wait to hear it for real on The Voice performance album for Maelyn Jarmon," wrote a fan on Twitter.

"This was the BEST original song I’ve ever heard on the voice and I have watched this since the first season! So much talent! Good luck," said another fan. While another added, "It was so GREAT to hear a none whining country singer! She sounded excellent." 

Adding to that another fan said, "Goosebumps for days... Just an amazing voice and song... definitely #1 on charts." "Incredible! In a league of her own! I hope she wins bc she truly deserves it! #VoiceFinale #TheVoice," wrote another fan. 

To see if Jarmon ends up winning this season, we will have to wait till Tuesday night when 'The Voice' airs live with their results.
