'The Voice' fans furious after NBC punks them with recap episode instead of Playoffs
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 24 fans were eagerly waiting for the Playoffs to begin. However, they were left disappointed knowing that instead of airing a new episode NBC chose to recap the Knockouts.
'The Voice' Season 24 Episode 17 is 'The Road to Playoffs.' This made many believe that NBC would be bringing in something new instead of showing the Playoff round in this episode.
Seeing no new content, a furious fan wrote on X "I thought they were bringing someone back tonight? Not another flashback!"
Another shocked fan claimed, "Wait….so this is just a recap episode and not an episode where we find out who is coming back? Why are recap episodes even a thing?"
Another advised NBC, "Dear #thevoice. We don’t need a recap. We already watch the show."
One tweeted, "You keep disappointing me with the recap shows! We’re ready for Live Music that’s not crammed into 3 weeks. That hurts the contestants who get much less exposure (compared to American Idol)."
One asked, "#TheVoice someone let me know when the real show starts."
"Can we just get to the singers please? I really do not like all this recap stuff they're shoving in these episodes," wrote another.
'The Voice' Season 24's fans ask for mega mentor Wynonna Judd's return
In the previous episodes, we saw Wynonna Judd as the mega mentor. Her time in the singing competition show came to an end ahead of the Playoffs.
But, fans were left begging for her return in 'The Voice' Season 24.

When will 'The Voice' Season 24's Playoffs begin?
Playoff round of 'The Voice' Season 24 will begin from Tuesday night. The Monday episode was a recap of each singer's journey until the Playoff round.
'The Voice' Season 24 Episode 18 titled The Playoffs Premiere will premiere on Tuesday, November 21 at 9 pm ET on NBC.
