'The View' co-hosts get into hilarious argument over Ron DeSantis' rumored boot lifts
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As the speculations surrounding Florida Governor Ron DeSantis using lifts inside his boots rise, 'The View' co-hosts did not let go of the chance to talk about it on the Thursday, November 2, episode.
While the conversation started on a lighter note, the co-host soon got into a fiery yet hilarious argument as Sara Haines came to the defense of the governor about talks regarding his height while Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin continued joking about his supposed use of heels to look tall.

The segment was kicked off by Whoopi Goldberg calling Ron DeSantis "Yosemeti DeSantis" and each host followed to take a jab at him for hiding his true height in a pair of heeled boots.
However, Sara Haines was not on board with the rest of her co-hosts as she presented her contrasting views to them, saying, "My take on this is a little different, we all know it's coming."
She continued, "Donald Trump is a bully and this is how he talks: Mini Marco, little Mike, pencil neck, sleepy eyes, horse face. It's always commenting on everyone's looks. There's plenty to pick apart about Ron DeSantis, I don't feel like it's the right tone to just pick on his height.
Ana Navarro tried to explain herself, saying, "I'm not picking on his height. I'm not picking on his height," as Sunny Hostin added, "But he's likely lying about his height."
"I have a hard time laughing about it because I think there's so much more substantial stuff," noted Haines.
But Navarro couldn't help but continue her mockery as she said, "I can laugh about it for days."
"That is not what I'm saying," said Haines, continuing to press her point, and she added, "We talk a lot about body positivity around here all the time and women and not commenting on bodies and why do we have to talk about size."

Subsequently, Sara Haines argued, "Short men aren't always confident. Like they struggle," to which Sunny Hostin replied, "Yeah but it's not about his height."
Haines then went back to a point made by her saying, "Yeah but you said tall men get paid more, we've never had a president under 6 feet. It doesn't mean your height determines your competence."
Host Alyssa Farah Griffin then jokingly noted that Donald Trump was also a tall president and Hostin responded with, "Are we gonna be stuck with Vladimir Putin at 5 foot 7 taking off his shirt and being on a horse."
"Vladimir Putin is awful but not because he's short!" responded Haines incredulously with a laugh.
By then, Whoopi Goldberg had had enough of her co-hosts bickering as she pressed down on the bell to halt the discussion.
