LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest political satire on HBO, 'The Regime' transports viewers into the fictitious realm of a central European republic.

Hollywood heavyweight Kate Winslet stars as the lead in the Will Tracy-created series, which is directed by Stephen Frears and Jessica Hobbs.

She is particularly concerned about her potential lung condition, which she believes she inherited from her father.

Amid her numerous political challenges, the most recent being the tragic incident at Site Five resulting in the deaths of twelve protestors, Elena grapples with concerns about her susceptibility to lung ailments.

To maintain her health, Dr Kirshaw frequently monitors her vital signs and performs cutting-edge medical therapies.

Additionally, the overly paranoid Chancellor has enlisted the services of Herbert Zubak (Matthias Schoenaerts), a former soldier with a tarnished past, to accompany her around the clock.

Herbert Zubak carries a handheld hydro monitor that measures the humidity in the area.

However, her paranoia grows even more intense following an attempted assassination, leaving her concerned about her health.

Cutting off all ties with the outside world, she retreats into isolation for a stringent two-week period, maintaining exclusive communication with Zubak, the very person who rescued her from the assassination attempt.

However, in the final moments of the episode, Elena confronts her adversaries head-on and breaks free from her self-imposed confinement, spurred on by Zubak's uplifting remarks.

'The Regime' Episode 2 will premiere on HBO and Max on Sunday, March 3rd at 9 pm.
