A close source has revealed that Ben Affleck's long face at the event had nothing to do with his relationship with Jennifer Lopez

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 5, and there were many entertaining moments to report that night. However, the attention of everyone present was focused on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who once again made headlines when an embarrassing moment during the Grammy Awards 2023 was captured on video.

JLo attended the ceremony with her husband Ben Affleck. The 'Justice League' actor showed up but did not seem to be having fun and at one point Lopez was reportedly "snapping" at Affleck.

Why did Ben have long, frowning face at Grammys?

MEAWW previously reported that Affleck, 50, started the awkward conversation by whispering something in JLo's ear, but she yanked away and appeared to snap at him in response. The actor then frowned, adjusted his waistcoat, and straightened up when Lopez, 53, responded before they realized it was all caught on tape.

When host Trevor Noah interacted with the two during part of the broadcast, much speculation arose. The most absurd of the wild speculations is that Ben and Jennifer are going through a difficult time. Ben Affleck's long face during the broadcast was due to new information he received from a source close to him, and his relationship with Jennifer Lopez had nothing to do with it, as Marca reports.

What really happened to Ben Affleck?

According to a source, Ben's only complaint during the Grammys was exhaustion. The actor is currently working on several new projects simultaneously, and he was exhausted after a long week.

This is what the source told Entertainment Tonight, "Jen and Ben had a fun date night out at the GRAMMYs, but they have both been very busy working on several projects, and Ben was feeling tired. He wanted to go and support Jen, but he wasn't his usual self. Jen had a great time and wanted Ben to be excited to be there, but she understood where he was coming from." The source added, "Jen knows Ben is a great husband and they still made sure to have a good night together. She knows how supportive Ben is towards her and her work, but also gets that Ben is more of a homebody, and it isn't his thing to be out at events all the time. She is appreciative of his support whether it's while they're out and about or just hanging at home."

In addition, Jeremy Freeman, a forensic lipreader, gave explanations of the dialogue to ET in order to break down the incident. "I believe when Ben Affleck whispered into... Jennifer Lopez's ear, she replied with, 'Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated,'" Freeman told ET. "[Then] she turned away and Ben Affleck shuttered uncomfortably... and [said], 'I might.'"
