65th Grammy Awards Full List of Performers: Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Harry Styles and more

Beyonce is nominated for nine awards and has made Grammy history with a career total of 88 nominations

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will commence at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. The ceremony will recognize some of the best songs, compositions, music videos, and artists from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. The nominations were announced on November 15, 2022. The event will be hosted by none other than Trevor Noah who was the host of the 'Today' show. 

We are seeing some record-breaking animations in the Grammies this year. Beyonce is leading the nominations with nine and is now tied with her husband Jay-Z as the most nominated artist in Grammy history with a career total of 88 nominations. The next artist following Beyonce is Kendrick Lamar with eight nominations. He has garnered a lot of positive criticism with his album 'Mr Morale & the Big Steppers'. Following Lamar, we have Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven nominations each. Another artist making history is Bad Bunny whose album 'Un Verano Sin Ti' became the first Spanish-language project to be nominated for Album of the Year. Let's take a look at all the performers who will be rocking the stage at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony.

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny has been a raging sensation throughout America with his album 'Un Verano Sin Ti'. He is already a two-time Grammy winner. This time, he is nominated for Album Of The Year ('Un Verano Sin Ti'), Best Pop Solo Performance ('Moscow Mule'), and Best Música Urbana Album ('Un Verano Sin Ti').

Mary J Blige

Often referred to as the 'Queen of Hip-Hop Soul' and 'Queen of R&B', Mary J Blige recently made headlines with her performance at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI show. This time, the 52-year-old singer has bagged six nominations. She is nominated for Record Of The Year ('Good Morning Gorgeous'), Album Of The Year ('Good Morning Gorgeous' (Deluxe)), Best R&B Performance ('Here With Me'), Best Traditional R&B Performance ('Good Morning Gorgeous'), Best R&B Song ('Good Morning Gorgeous'), and Best R&B Album ('Good Morning Gorgeous' (Deluxe)).

Brandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile is another known name when it comes to the Grammys. She's a six-time Grammy winner and has released seven studio albums. This time, she is nominated for seven awards which are - Record Of The Year ('You And Me On The Rock'), Album Of The Year ('In These Silent Days'), Best Rock Performance ('Broken Horses'), Best Rock Song ('Broken Horses'), Best Americana Performance ('You And Me On The Rock'), Best American Roots Song ('You And Me On The Rock'), and Best Americana Album ('In These Silent Days'). 

Steve Lacy

Lacy first gained reputation and recognition as the guitarist of the alternative R&B band the Internet. However, in 2017, he released his self-produced debut EP titled 'Steve Lacy's Demo'. This time, he is nominated for four awards which are Record Of The Year ('Bad Habit'), Song Of The Year ('Bad Habit'), Best Pop Solo Performance ('Bad Habit'), and Best Progressive R&B Album ('Gemini Rights'). 

Luke Combs

Luke Combs gained some serious traction with his song 'When It Rains It Pours'. Combs is nominated for four awards this year that is Best Country Duo/Group Performance ('Outrunnin' Your Memory'), Best Country Song ('Doin' This'), and Best Country Album ('Growin' Up'). 

Lizzo

Lizzo's song 'About Damn Time' was a rage with every social media platform talking about the song. The three-time Grammy winner has been nominated for five awards this year. These are Record Of The Year ('About Damn Time'), Album Of The Year ('Special'), Song Of The Year ('About Damn Time'), Best Pop Solo Performance ('About Damn Time'), and Best Pop Vocal Album ('Special').

Sam Smith and Kim Petras

The R&B duo gave us the most memorable lines of 2022 with their song 'Unholy' this year. Both of them are nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ('Unholy'). Smith has recently released a new music video titled 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends' which has caused quite a controversy over the content used in the visuals.

Harry Styles

Styles has been nominated for Record Of The Year for his song 'As It Was' from his album 'Harry's House' which is also nominated for Album Of The Year. Other nominations include Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, and Best Music Video.
