Network television's longest-running game show 'The Price is Right' telecast one of its celebrity-themed holiday special with host Drew Carey and the hour-long episode is titled 'The Price Is Right At Night: A Holiday Extravaganza With The Cast Of SEAL Team'.

Popular celebrities from the military action drama like David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr, AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks and Justin Melnick stepped in to support the lucky contestants along with Dita the dog! The stars welcomed an audience full of active duty military and veterans as they tried their luck at the number game.

The show started with a swashbuckling entry by David Boreanaz as he pumped up the crowd with a burst of energy. The rest of the cast too won hearts with their appearances. However, hard-core fans of 'SEAL Team' may be disappointed if they tune in to see any revelations about the forthcoming plot of the series after the winter break.

Excited and exhilarated, the contestants tried to guess to the best of their abilities and even get to play additional games like Plinko and One Away. From luxury cars to a foosball table and dartboard combo to a home gym, the prizes are simply mind-blowing. In the final spinning game, the cast managed to raise about $87,363.

First premiered in 1956, 'The Price is Right' was overtaken by host Bob Barker in 1972 to unleash a new iconic version. It was in 2007 that Carey became the host and brought his quick-witted energy from improvisational comedy on 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' to add zeal to the game show.

The winnings from the episode go to the Headstrong Project, a charity that provides mental health treatment for 9/11 survivors and their families. The episode aired on Sunday, December 22 from 8 to 9 pm ET/PT on CBS.
