'The Outlaws' Season 3 Episode 1 Ending Explained: Community members audaciously dispose of Smiler's body
BRISTOL, UNITED KINGDOM: 'The Outlaws' Season 3 will premiere on Prime Video on May 31, 2024, the series created by Elgin James and Stephen Merchant begins with the death of Smiler (Rhys Yates) in the first episode with Rani Rekowski (Rhianne Barreto) being accused of the murder.
The episode begins with the community service members living their ordinary lives after the events of Season 2 as they try to move on and live the life of a good person while serving their community payback hours at the Bristol City Farm. Their life goes awry when Rani Rekowski ends up on the farm with Smiler's body in her car.
The team is in a dilemma about helping Rani as they suspects she might have killed Smiler. Rani however claims that Smiler was killed by a mystery man after he called her to meet at an unknown location. So who could have killed Smiler? The Dean is out for revenge
The Dean (Claes Bang) finds himself in a legal battle to prove his innocence. His lawyer advises him to not engage in any kind of violence but he is seething with anger after being outdone by amateurs.
The Dean has something to do with Smiler's death and framing Rani for it. His anger and rage could lead to problems for the community service members and if The Dean comes out of jail, he could pose a huge threat to their safety.
D S Selforth closes in on Sgt Haines and community members
D S Selforth (Kojo Kamara) is given the task of interrogating his partner Sgt Haines (Grace Calder) and the community service members. He discovers a mobile phone that connects Haines with Rani Rekowski.
He goes to the farm and learns new details about the connection between Rani and Sgt Haines from Diane (Jessica Gunning) while the rest of the members comically hide the dead body from him.
Community Service Members bury the dead body in the woods
John Haloran (Darren Boyd), Greg (Stephen Merchant), and Myrna (Clare Perkins) bury the body in the woods as Ben (Gamba Cole) and Rani push the car into a water body nearby.
After contemplation, they arrive at a decision to help Rani in disposing of the body as they think they are all responsible for the situation in which Rani finds herself.
