'The Outlaws' Season 3 Ending Explained: Rani and team's fate uncertain in thrilling finale
Warning: Contains spoilers for 'The Outlaws'
BRISTOL, UNITED KINGDOM: 'The Outlaws' Season 3 is streaming on Prime Video from May 31, 2024, and the series created by Elgin James and Stephen Merchant has five episodes as the antagonist The Dean (Claes Bang) tries to get revenge on Rani Rekowski (Rhianne Barreto) and the team for planting drugs in his car and getting him a jail term at the end of the Season 2.
The Dean goes after Rani Rekowski and plants a dead body in her car. Meanwhile, The Dean is about to get his innocence proved in court after he proves that Sgt Haines (Grace Calder) helped plant the drugs in his car. The team is in danger if he comes out and plans to present evidence to the court.
The evidence is in a hard disk in his house and they carry out a comical heist to get the hard disk. The heist seems to be unsuccessful as Malaki (Charles Babalola) seems to have cut a deal with Burgess (Ricky Grover) who plans to give it to the Dean. It turns out to be a part of their plan though as they give Burgess a fake hard disk while the real one is retrieved by Ben (Gamba Cole) who hides in the room where the hard disk is. Can they present the evidence to the court? Here we explain the end of 'The Outlaws' Season 3.
Evidence against The Dean gets destroyed
Diane Pemberley (Jess Gunning) informs DCI Monroe (Rufus Wright) of the whereabouts of evidence against The Dean. Monroe however is involved with The Dean and stabs Malaki and then destroys the evidence.
Monroe and Burgess corner Rani and Ben and there seems to be no way out. Rani turns on Ben and pins the entire blame on him when Ben points an empty gun at Monroe and Burgess. As the rest of the police arrive, they step up to arrest Ben but end up arresting Monroe and Burgess instead.
It turns out that the whole thing was a plan to record the confession of Monroe and Burgess. Rani came up with the plan once again to trap them in a conversation and record it.
The Dean gets arrested once again
As the evidence reaches court, The Dean gets arrested again as he gets hysterical on losing to Rani and the team once again. Malaki recovers from the stabbing wounds.
While the heist is going on, Gabby (Eleanor Tomlinson) pretends to be pregnant but seems to be in pain even after the act is over. When she and Greg (Stephen Merchant) get it checked, they discover that the implants have worked and the pain is because she is now pregnant after earlier believing she isn't.
Rani reunites Ben with Tori
Rani breaks up with Ben at the end of Season 2 realizing that she is meant to be a wild child and not in a stable relationship. Ben is now with Tori (Silvia Presente).
But as Rani and Ben spend more time together in Season 3, she feels like she wants him in her life again and kisses him at the beginning of the final episode. Tori watches this and breaks up with Ben.
As the heist is now complete and all is well, we see a final scene where Rani comes to meet Ben in his food cart and reunites him with Tori. She embraces her personality as a free bird and moves on from Ben.
