Trailer

The trailer of 'The Morning Show', Apple TV's production arrived August 19 and it gives us a look at some of the great performers coming together for a show about the lives of people who host TV shows. Jennifer Aniston's Alex Levy, one fine morning, tells the audience of her show that her co-host Mitch Kessler portrayed by Steve Carroll has been fired from his position.

This results in the network going through a publicity nightmare that could lead to the end of them holding the top spot. Alex is also going through a tough time as she is now worried about being "written out of the narrative" after announcing on live TV that her co-host was fired.

Then comes Reese Witherspoon's Bradley Jackson who finds a way into the audience's heart with her truth and how she speaks it. Also starring Billy Crudup and Mark Duplass in lead roles, a lot is expected from this Apple TV show.

The teaser released August 12, revealed the office of Mitch Kessler and we hear the voiceovers of Aniston, Witherspoon and Carell's characters.

News

On November 8, 2017, it was announced that Apple had given the production a series order consisting of two seasons of ten episodes apiece. On August 12, 2019, Apple released a first look trailer for the series. It was also revealed that the series will be titled 'Morning Wars in Australia', in order to distinguish the series from the Australian morning news program with the same name.
