'The Misery Index' Season 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the quirky game show

TBS is all set to release Season 3 of 'The Misery Index' featuring host Jameela Jamil alongside the stars of truTV’s 'Impractical Jokers'. A Grandma's House Entertainment, ‘The Misery Index’ was ranked as one of the top 10 cable comedies of 2020. ‘The Misery Index’ is inspired by the card game S**t Happens where teams compete against each other by attempting to rate hilarious and miserable real-life events based on the "misery index", a ranking system created by a team of therapists.

Release date

‘The Misery Index’ is all set to release on October 20 at 1030/9:30 c on TBS.

Plot

The Misery Index is a comedy game show inspired by the card game S**t Happens. The third season of the series will feature themed episodes including a twin-centric battle, a dare to regret and a special holiday episode with the final round worth $50,000. 

Cast

The new season of 'The Misery Index’ will feature host Jameela Jamil alongside the stars of truTV's 'Impractical Jokers' Brian 'Q' Quinn, James 'Murr' Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano.

Wife of James Blake, Jameela Jamil is an English actress, radio presenter and an activist known for raising her voice for issues related to women empowerment and LGBTQ+ community.

The American comedy troupe and stars of ‘Impractical Jokers’ call themselves ‘The Tenderloins’ and have been friends since freshman year in High School. The comedians met in religion class and became interested in drama and improv which helped in fuelling their career in television and on the Internet.

The trailer of the new season starts with Jamil saying, “Let’s get miserable.” The fun, the banter, crazy games and hilarious videos that we get a glimpse of are surely getting the adrenaline pumping among fans.
