Group A featured a face-off between, Butterfly vs Egg followed by Thingamajig vs Skeleton. After giving out their clues and performing for the judging panel, Egg and Skeleton were in the bottom two, battling it out in the very first smackdown.  Emerging as the winner, was none other than the Skeleton. Though most fans weren't in favor of the judges' decision, they were equally excited to see who is the Egg.

Group B featured a face-off between, Ladybug and Rotweiller followed by Tree vs Ice Cream. Receiving the lowest votes during the faceoff Ladybug and Ice Cream had to battle it out for the last spot in the smackdown.

Finally, the Ladybug advanced to the next round, while it was time to for the Ice Cream to be unmasked. Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy were spot on with their guess as to who the Egg might be. It was none other than figure skating champion Johnny Weir. It was an easy guess but Ice Cream, on the other hand, had the judges really scratching their heads. None of them guessed it right.

Unmasked, famed YouTuber Ninja shocked the judges by being the Ice Cream. None of them got it right, most fans were also nowhere close to guessing it right. But overall, they did enjoy the series, as they took to social media to reveal that the series is off to a good start.

Taking to Twitter, a fan wrote, "I definitely can't wait I love it when it comes to guessing who is under the mask #TheMaskedSinger."
