The masked celebrity disguised as the Zebra revealed that he's someone who consciously moved away from the limelight. Here are all the clues about his identity

The Zebra made his debut on 'The Masked Dancer' on Wednesday (January 6) night during the Group B playoffs. The stunning outfit along with a studded snoot makes the zebra one of the most attractive masks on the show and there's an instant likeability about the entire disguise.

The Zebra entered the stage moving his body, dancing like no one's watching, not standing still even for a moment. There are a number of clues surrounding his identity and here we try to lay them all out for the audiences of the show that are rooting for this striped masked performer. 

Who is Zebra on 'The Masked Dancer'?

The clue package that played before the Zebra could perform saw him talking about the fact that he had moved away from the limelight and that audiences hadn't seen him for a while. He also spoke about growing up in a rough neighborhood and the only love he grew up to know was tough love. The visual clues in his package included a poster with a zebra on it, a medal around the masked celebrity's neck that was highlighted for a couple of seconds, a red car, and a desert where a couple of zebras were running free. 

Who do the judges think the Zebra on 'The Masked Dancer' is? 

The judges picked up a lot of boy band references and movie star references in the clue package. Paula Abdul began couldn't help but praise the zebra's whole look for this show. Ken Jeong too chimed in adding that he feels the masked celebrity is a trained dancer but is trying to hide it by staying in character from the very beginning. Brian Austin Green added that he too feels that this celebrity is a trained dancer because over the years he's observed that dancers keep moving all the time, just like the Zebra has been doing on the show, he just can't stop moving even during the critique. The one-word clue that he provided about his identity to the judges in his own voice was "comeback".

As for the guesses, the Latin vibes in Zebra's clue package, as well as his performance, were not lost on Green and he weighed in saying that he first felt it could be Enrique Iglesias or Marc Anthony but later settled for Ricky Martin as his guess. Jeong called Zebra a "magnetic performer" and added that he picked up on NKOTB and Backstreet Boys references in the package and later settled for his favorite BSB member Kevin Richardson for his guess.

Fans are running with Ricky Martin as their guess. "I guarantee you that the zebra is none other than Ricky martin #TheMaskedDancer," wrote a fan. "Zebra is Ricky Martin. #TheMaskedDancer," another tweet read. "Zebra is obviously Ricky Martin on #TheMaskedDancer," tweeted another fan. 

'The Masked Dancer' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on Fox.
