Spoilers for 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Episode 7 'The Believer'
With Episode 7 in the books, 'The Mandalorian' is all set for the finale next week on Friday, December 18. The series has focused on finding the origins of Baby Yoda who we now know as Grogu even as the Empire is hot on his heels. Episode 7 saw Mando/Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) partner with former Imperial sharpshooter, Migs Mayfeld (Bill Burr) to find out the whereabouts of Grogu and Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). Helping Mando in his mission are Cara Dune (Gina Carano), Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen).
With the coordinates of Gideon now found, the episode sees Mando issue a warning to the Empire leader that he is coming for Grogu. The finale, yet to be titled, will almost surely see the Beskar staff vs Darksaber battle the fans have anticipated.
When will finale air?
Disney Plus usually drops new content just after midnight PT. This could pretty much be the case for the finale as well which will mostly arrive around 12.01 am PT on Friday, December 18. Watch this space for more updates on what time the episode drops.
How long will the episode be?
At the moment, there are no details about how long the episode would be, but 'Chapter 16' might just borrow from last year's Season 1 template. Chapter 8 had a runtime of 46 minutes. The new season also had two episodes spanning the runtime and with an epic battle being predicted, the episode just might touch an hour. This, of course, is pure speculation, but we are hoping to see an episode that's detailed, action-packed, and memorable, just as the first season finale was.

At the time of writing, there was no synopsis that was available for the finale, making it all the more unpredictable and exciting. There will most definitely be a cliffhanger with Season 3 already in the works.
