'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Chapter 12: Baby Yoda's wiring scene or Baby Groot's bomb sequence, which is cuter?

Spoilers for 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Episode 4 'Chapter 12 The Siege'

'The Siege' does have its action moments and there were dollops of cute scenes with Baby Yoda. Now then, we aren't saying that poor lil' tyke getting electrocuted was fun, but it didn't stop us from drawing parallels with Baby Groot's bomb scene with Rocket Raccoon in the hit Marvel film, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2' where Rocket gives him instructions about the button that he has to press and scamper off. Much to Rocket's frustration, the little sapling gets the instruction almost always wrong.

As hilarious as that scene is, it does appear that 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 might have beaten Baby Groot with this one. With the Razor Crest in pretty bad shape and the Mon Calamari doing a pathetic job with the repairs, Mando and Baby Yoda decide to go back to Nevarro to meet Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and get the ship fixed. Before that though, there is an absolutely hilarious and ultra-cute scene where Baby Yoda decides to help with the repairs.

Don't ask us, we don't know how he could understand the difference between a red and a blue wire, but well, he does botch it up and gets electrocuted in the process. That leaves Mando to decide that Nevarro would be their best bet before heading off to meet Ahsoka Tano. The episode, directed by Carl Weathers is action-packed and has generous doses of fun and spine-chilling reveals at the same time. Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) is back and he is building an army of Dark Troopers.

And it does appear to also tell why the baddies wanted Baby Yoda's blood. Theories on Twitter read there could be an attempt to bring Snoke back to life with the blood, but we'll know more about this as the season progresses. As far as the Baby Yoda vs Baby Groot battle continues, we will be going with the green imp on this one.

Who do you think is still better after today's episode? Baby Yoda or Baby Groot?

'The Mandalorian' Season 2 is available for streaming on Disney+.
