May contain spoilers for Season 1 Episode 1 of 'The L Word: Generation Q' titled 'Let's Do It Again'

At the end of the pilot episode last week, Dani Núñez (Arienne Mandi) decides to quit Núñez Incorporated where she worked with her father in order to join Bette (Jennifer Beals) and her campaign to run for prayer.

It was not an easy decision for Dani to make, but the final push was Bette's (Jennifer Beals) chat with Alice (Leisha Hailey) at her show. After a man publicly came out with Bette's affair with his wife, she finds her political campaign in jeopardy. But on Alice's chat show, Bette confesses that while she might not be the perfect person, she does have the perfect message for the city and that is of development and sustainability. And by the end of it, Dani decides to join her campaign.

But the ghost of that night is not far behind. With her campaign at risk, Bette must now tread slowly and steadily. In the upcoming second episode, Bette weathers fallout as she prepares for an LGBTQIA Center talk. "We need to protect this campaign," Dani says.

The promo released by the channel shows Dani ask Bette if there is more information out there that can be used against her and her campaign. Lord only knows just how much there is out there, but we do hope nothing comes back to bite her. The episode will also show Dani (Arienne Mandi) and Sophie (Rosanny Zayas) celebrate good news as Dani begins a new job with Bette.

On the personal front, it doesn't look like Dani's father is happy about her proposing to Sophie. When Dani had expressed her love for Sophie, he had completely disregarded it, saying it is important to have fun when young. And going forward, he will be creating more problems.

At the same time, Shane (Katherine Moennig) helps Finley (Jacqueline Toboni) with her housing situation. In the promo, it looks like she is crashing at Shane's place, and won't be leaving any time soon. We're actually looking forward to their camaraderie. Perhaps amidst all the drama on 'The L Word: Generation Q', the duo will offer some much-needed comedic respite.

'The L Word: Generation Q' airs on Showtime on Sunday at 10/9c.
