Spoilers ahead for Season 1 Episode 3 of 'The L Word: Generation Q' titled 'Lost Love'

Showtime's most popular and favorite show 'The L Word' returned with its sequel 'The L Word: Generation Q' early this month. It follows Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice (Leisha Hailey) and Shane (Katherine Moennig) 10 years since the events of the original show. Along with the OG characters, the sequel brings a gamut of new characters from across the LGBT+ spectrum

Yet, three episodes into the new run of the show, fans are finding the plot predictable. Shane buys the sports bar in order to convert it into a lesbian bar, but then immediately hooks up with Lena, who reassures her that she has been having relationship troubles with her girlfriend Tess (Jamie Clayton). At the same time, each episode has shown Dani (Arienne Mandi) and Sophie (Rosanny Zayas) having issues.

"So far I feel the season has been very predictable," pointed out a fan. "Everyone called it on Shane buying the bar and hooking up with the dark-haired bartender [Lena, played by Mercedes Mason], I think we all called it on the Sophie/Dani stuff (seriously losing interest in their relationship, neither seems particularly happy) and the chance of Alice's relationship lasting the season seems to get lower each minute."

"Shane hooking up with the bartender was the most predictable thing ever. A snooze. Sophie and Dani are so boring and seem to do nothing but bicker. they have no chemistry," noted another fan.

Neither are people appreciating the treatment Micah (Leo Sheng) has been receiving. "Micah seems a bit boring at the moment, tbh. Granted, he hasn't had much screentime so far, but his story doesn't seem all that interesting right now," noted a fan.

In the latest episode, Micah is readying himself for an evening out with Jose (Freddy Miyares), who happens to cancel on him at the last minute. A hurt Micah, ends up with a one-night stand. "What? All I got is that there was a hot dude at the neighbor’s, and then the José canceled their plans, so he hooked up with someone else and also he can’t dance. Was it supposed to mean that maybe José was seeing the hot dude in the beginning? Eh. Confusing and whatever," shared an indifferent viewer.

'The L Word: Generation Q' airs on Sundays at 10/ 9c on Showtime.
