Netflix's upcoming Spanish anime 'The Idhun Chronicles' is an epic story full of excitement, friendship and action. Based on the fantasy and adventure trilogy written by the Spanish author Laura Gallego, 'The Idhun Chronicles' follows a tale of revolution and rebellion that is set to change their world.

Plot
According to the official synopsis of the anime series, "The day the three Suns and three Moons came together in alignment over Idhun, Ashran, the necromancer, seized power and the reign of the winged snakes started. The first battle for Idhun's freedom takes place on Earth, where Jack and Victoria fight to stop Kirtash, an assassin sent by Ashran to destroy the Idhunites who escaped from his tyranny. However, without knowing it Jack and Victoria are part of a prophecy that will intertwine their destinies in a story full of love and hate that will unchain duels to death and also build unexpected alliances."
Cast
Itzán Escamilla as Jack
As Jack, Escamilla voices a thirteen-year-old boy who is optimistic, impulsive and quite stubborn. The Spanish actor is known for his role as Samuel García Domínguez in Netflix's 'Élite'.
Michelle Jenner as Victoria
In the role of Victoria, Spanish cinema and television actress Jenner plays the role of a cheerful, easygoing and determined character. Jenner is known for her role in 'Cathedral of the Sea', 'El Ministerio del Tiempo' and 'Isabel'.
Nico Romero as Shail
Romera voices the role of the wizard of Resistance. According to the release, "When he was a child, a unicorn gave him the gift of magic. Kind and empathetic, he is fascinated by the Earth's technology." The actor is known for his work in 'Cable Girls', 'Eyes of the Roshi', and 'Cuento de verano'.
Sergio Mur as Kirtash
15-year-old Kirtash plays the role of an experienced killer. Mur is known for his work in 'Doña Flor y sus dos maridos', 'Hospital Valle Norte' and 'Cable Girls'.
Carlos Cuevas as Alsan
Alsan is the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Vanissar and leads the rebel group known as the Resistance. Cuevas is known for his work in 'Ventdelplà', 'The Ministry of Time' and 'Ahora o nunca'.
Creators
The series is an adaptation of 'The Resistance', the first volume of the namesake bestseller written by Laura Gallego. Produced by Zeppelin, the series has been developed in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
