Before the multiversal 'Crisis', Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is caught in a crisis of his own. In the latest episode of 'The Flash', "The Last Temptation of Barry Allen", Barry battles with Bloodwork's (Sendhil Ramamurthy) blood in his system before finally succumbing to the dark side, and becoming Negative Flash.

While he struggles with his dilemmas, he realizes that he doesn't want to die during the Crisis, and would like to live a happy life with Iris (Candice Patton) and his daughter Nora, who had vanished before his eyes in season 5. There is a heartbreaking moment when he sees his baby daughter and cries.

Fans are in tears over this episode and have been flooding social media with tweets. "Ramsey: Have all you want *immediately flashes to Barry with Iris and baby Nora* All Barry wants is a family with Iris," one tweeted.

Another wrote, "OooooooMmmggggggg this #TheFlash episode was something!!! Oweeeyyyyyy!!! So many emotions!!!!  #GrantGustin performance was amazing, @candicepatton amazing as usual #WestAllen scenes with baby Nora....!!! This episode got me on the tip of my chair the whole time."

There is a scene in the episode where Barry wants to hold baby Nora, but he obviously can't. " Barry seeing baby nora • baby nora’s cry • barry reaching over to carry her • barry learning he can’t hold his child • barry pleading to bloodwork to let him hold her my mix emotions are all over the place."

A fan tweeted, "Barry’s first instinct was to hold Nora because the last time he saw her was when she vanished in his arms."

Another fan wrote, "My heart broke when Barry couldn't pick up baby Nora..."

In one scene, Barry finally holds Nora, or so he is made to believe. In response to this, a fan tweeted, "Anyways can we talk about the way Barry carefully cradled Nora to him like a treasure and took her in in stunned relief and disbelief because he couldn’t hold her before!!!!!"

The 'Crisis' is all set to begin, and it remains to be seen how Barry and his team deals with it. More importantly, will Barry become his old self again?

'The Flash' airs on CW, on Tuesdays.
