This article contains spoilers for 'The Flash' season 6 Episode 6: 'License to Elongate'

'License to Elongate'  was a refreshing watch after six episodes of the season's latest installment. The Danielle Panabaker-directed episode was filled with James Bond tropes as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) go on an undercover mission to Midway City after unearthing a clue on Sue Dearborn. To make the mission more serious or pretty funny, the episode was filled with ample 007 tropes.

We made a list of the references in 'License to Elongate'. Let us know what you think. And if we have missed anything. Let us know!

'License to Elongate'

The title of the episode is borrowed from the 1989 Timothy Dalton-starrer, 'Licence to Kill'. It was the sixteenth in the James Bond film series.

The name's Dibny... Ralph Dibny

Okay, we don't even have to explain this one, do we?

January Galore

Remember Pussy Galore? The fictional character played by Honor Blackman appeared in the '59 Ian Fleming James Bond novel, 'Goldfinger', and the '64 film of the same name.

Remington Meister as Auric Goldfinger

As far as playing the part goes, Carlo Rota was spot on in playing the part of Auric Goldfinger. In 'License to Elongate', the character is pretty sinister and comical at the same time. The laser cannon and "I want you to die" is added for a good measure as well.

The Martinis

'Shaken, not stirred' was not to be missed out here.

Ring of Fire

An array of missiles that could decimate any part of the earth and the gizmo is loosely based on 'Golden Eye', the weapons system used in the '95 film of the same name starring Pierce Brosnan.

Add to these the iconic Bond theme, a game of Mahjong, some fancy men and women in suits in an elegant criminal party, and 'License to Elongate' is filled with fun Bond Tropes.

What do you think of the 007 references in 'License of Elongate'?

'The Flash' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
