'Crisis on Infinite Earths' gives fans the first look at Tom Cavanagh's Pariah

DC Television and The CW have revealed the first look of Cavanagh— The most brilliant scientist from an undesignated Earth in the DC multiverse

Tom Cavanagh is all set to appear as Pariah in the inevitable, multiverse-breaking battle, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'.  DC Television and The CW have revealed the first look of Cavanagh—  The most brilliant scientist from an undesignated Earth in the DC multiverse.  Prior to the series premiere, showrunner Eric Wallace had spoken about Pariah's introduction in the Arrowverse.

During the San Diego Comic-Con, Wallace said: "As part of Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, not only will Tom be playing the two characters we heard here, he will also be playing Pariah as part of the crossover," Wallace said. "He works for the Anti-Monitor... In the original miniseries, it's Pariah who is very much integral in releasing the Anti-Multiverse. For Tom to play such a pivotal character... it's just going to tear your guts out and make you cry." He also added that the reason for the new role will be revealed at the end of the first "graphic novel," which will "lead up to a very, very big twist at the end of the Bloodwork case that launches Crisis."

The first official photo was revealed via KSiteTV. You can take a look at it below. A twitter image with Cavanagh and the rest of the characters slated to appear in Crisis surfaced last week. This image, however, gives a better look at the character.

Some of his powers and abilities include being a genius and immortal, flight and teleportation. In the comics, Pariah managed to work with the heroes and put an end to the Anti-Monitor. However, his exact role in the TV version is yet to be revealed.

How crucial do you think Pariah's role is in 'Crisis'?
