'The Five' host Jesse Watters slams Biden Administration for additional Covid booster shot and return of mask mandate
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The Five' host Jesse Watters commented on the latest surge in suggestions of a mask mandate and a possible additional boost against the virus Covid-19.
Like most Republican Americans, Watters seemed to have a very serious disapproval of masks getting suggested as a precaution for a potential surge in cases again.
The host also discussed a recently done study that suggests that the masks might actually have negative effects on the human body, making it vulnerable to cancer.
Watters slammed President Biden over the possible backfiring repercussions of a booster shot getting back into the markets.
Jesse Watters on face masks giving you cancer
The host panel on 'The Five' brought up the discussion around American media making the nation wear masks to protect themselves as a possible variant of COVID seems to be on the horizon.
Against that, the panel's attention was brought to a scientific study that revealed that those who wear the high-protection N95 masks might be exposed to harmful chemicals that could give them cancer.
Republicans have been wary of wearing masks from the very initial days of the epidemic and this study has only gone on to back their claims. This included host Jesse Watters as well.
"I'm going to walk around with this study in my pocket," Watters said when asked to comment, "and if anybody tries to make me wear a mask, I'm going to say, "There's a study that says masks can give me cancer. Do you want me to get cancer? Obviously not."
Jesse Watters worries for American economy as booster shot makes a return
Watters also showed disapproval for another booster shot getting introduced to Americans to protect them from getting infected by the new variant.
"That's garbage. There's another shot that he's going to recommend all Americans take?" he questioned in surprise, "Not just Americans with comorbidities, not just Americans that are over 65: Every single American? And the shots are going to cost a lot of money? And the insurance companies are going to get paid again? And doctors are going to get bonuses based off the percentage of the administration of shots?"
Watters went on to suggest that the booster shot might as well just be a fraud. "This is another huge scam and no one is going to go along with another shot, especially if it's mandated," he added.
