'The Family Chantel': Nicole's cousins and friends question her taste after labeling Alejandra 'really White'
Nicole Jimeno is on cloud nine after finding her true love in Alejandra. The pair met online and have been talking ever since. While Nicole thinks she has found the one, people around her have their doubts. Nicole's mother and brother have questions about her new relationship.
Since she has not been talking a lot about him, her family seems to think she has been hiding a lot. In the latest episode (October 19), Nicole decided to meet up with her friends and cousins. The reality star has been very close to them and was looking forward to talking about the new man in her life.
Nicole admitted her relationship with Alejandra was very different. She confessed he made her feel like a true queen by giving her flowers, calling her often and being there for whenever she needed him. Nicole also revealed she had gone to meet him in New York and was waiting for her visa approval to go again. After hearing so much about him, her cousins and friends were looking forward to seeing how he looked. Without hesitation, Nicole showed them a picture of Alejandra that she had on her phone. While she expected them to be happy about her, Nicole was shocked to see their disappointed reactions.
They thought Alejandra was not the one for her because of the way he looked. One of her friends pointed out that he was "really White". The friend further added that she thought Nicole "liked them darker". Meanwhile, another commented on the way he dressed. Nicole had reportedly been a fan of someone who wore a collared shirt.
However, Alejandra was different and the opposite. They were not too pleased to hear he was the manager of a mobile company. Her cousin reminded Nicole that she is educated and has a good degree. She further added that it looked like Nicole was settling for someone lower than her standards.
While all of them thought they were not the right match, Nicole seemed to think otherwise. Speaking to the camera, she admitted their attitude towards Alejandra was unexpected. Rather than waiting for them to comment more, Nicole decided to walk away. While she managed to shut her friends and family, can she do the same to her brother and mother?
