'The Family Chantel': Is Angenette using Royal? Karen questions her changed attitude in the Philippines
Angenette and Royal Everett surprised everyone with their wedding as the pair decided to marry each other in a short span of time. The two met each other on social media and quickly became very close. Royal's family had been welcoming towards Angelenette, but one person who had her doubts was his sister Chantel Everett. Chantel wondered if Angenette truly loved her brother and accused her of "fishing for Americans" after finding out she was speaking to other guys. While the rest of the family favored Angenette, things seem to have changed now. Karen Everett has some doubts about her son's wife after finding out she had a miscarriage.
Royal decided to open up to Karen and revealed he had his doubts about the child being his. Karen admitted it was a shock to hear this and decided to dig deeper. After finding this out, the Everett family traveled to the Philippines for Royal and Angenette's marriage. The pair decided to get married once again as they wanted their family and close friends to be there.
Karen thought this would be the best time to see how Angenette is as she comes back to her hometown. The trip started well as Angenette decided to take the entire family to the famous night market. However, Karen noticed that Angenette's attitude had changed once she was back. Karen admitted that Angenette looked more confident, comfortable, and aggressive as they spend more time together. She hinted that karma would come for Angenette if she was using Royal. For those who have already seen the show, there is no doubt Karen does not sit back when it comes to her children.
In the previous season, Karen decided to hire a private investigator to find out about her daughter Winter Everett's boyfriend. Even though Winter had been dating her boyfriend for many years, Karen did not hold back in getting to the bottom of the truth. Seeing how she has taken such measures in the past, it won't come as a shock if history repeats itself.
However, with the Everett family in a new country, will Karen be more open and willing to give Angenette a chance?
