LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ABC had done a phenomenal job in 2023 by introducing several brilliant shows to their viewers, but looks like they can’t keep that up anymore. Fans have been thoroughly disappointed after the news of ‘The Company You Keep’ being canceled was delivered to them. This spy series filled with sexual tension and romance became a fan favorite in no time, and just like that, it reached its unwitting end.

‘The Company You Keep’ starring Milo Ventimiglia and Catherina Haena Kim was a story about two people from different worlds who end up together in a whirlwind of sex, romance, CIA and the underbelly of the criminal world. The premise wasn’t too fresh but the execution left the show with a dedicated fan following. Sadly, it has now come to an end!

‘Not a good look’

As ABC decided to leave ‘The Company You Keep’ behind and not renew it for a second season, the fans didn't hold back their emotions. One fan bluntly asked, “@ABC The Company You Keep is too good to cancel. WTF is wrong with you!?” Another fan pointed out that this isn’t new for ABC, “Canceling The Company You Keep, really misguided. Only Will Trent and the news keeps me watching abc..you've canceled everything else.” Some fans were still hopeful that ‘The Company You Keep’ might continue elsewhere as they write, “Another Network needs to pick up The Company You Keep! Too good of a show to be gone this soon.” Well, Netflix or Prime Video needs to sweep in and save the day!

While some fans are disappointed and angry tweeting, others have devised a plan of action to save their favorite show, “Save The Company You Keep For A Season 2! - Sign the Petition! https://chng.it/yB4MnXgt via @Change” It is very rare that these petitions actually amount to something, but it does give fans a glimmer of hope. Fans don’t hesitate on pointing out just how good the series was one fan writes, “Wait I just found out the company you keep got canceled after one season? this show had so much potential I’m upset.” ABC is going to have to deal with a lot of angry tweets as they continue canceling other shows too, and one livid fan writes, “@abcnetwork finally presented two shows that were interesting, Alaska Daily and The Company You Keep and after a brief run, both are canceled. Not a good look for a network that primarily shows meaningless nonsense.”
