Frank Grimsley, who competes as himself in 'The Circle,' has tried to remain true to himself since day one. The man is living his life, making new friends, and playing the game as honestly as he can. Even though most of his competitors admire him and refer to him as "Mr. Nice Guy," some of them disagree. Bru, who had always doubted Frank and questioned his popularity, finally had a one-on-one chat with him in Episode 10, even though they were both among the first to enter the show. A worried Frank approaches Bru after he loses a close ally, Alyssa.

As the talk progresses, Bru sees an opportunity to discover the source of his "ball of positive energy" that people seemed to trust and vibe within 'The Circle.' Frank confesses that he enjoys receiving positive comments about his energy and how he makes others feel, because being this person was not always simple, and he certainly went through a lot. He goes on to say that he tries to wake up every day and be thankful and optimistic because every day isn't guaranteed. He chose to be vulnerable in front of Bru, finally opening up about his life. Frank explains that he's so upbeat in the game because he's been through a lot in life, and he's thankful to be here every day. Frank lost both of his parents when he was young and learned early on to appreciate every day that was given to him. He says he doesn't waste time worrying that the terrible in his life will overshadow the great, since he's just thankful to get up every day, and that's the secret to his being a beam of sunshine.

This struck a chord not only with Bru but also with the viewers. Fans of the show who have always supported Frank continued to shower him with affection. A fan on Twitter wrote: "Frank is officially my favorite player this season. It takes a lot of courage to be that vulnerable and share something so sensitive. #TheCircle #TheCircleNetflix"

Another Twitter user recounted their loss of a loved one and how they could relate to Frank: "I loved Frank before but now… dang… my nephews mom (my sister) died in 2018 when they were just 4 and 6. And in Jan their dad died. So he is WITHOUT A DOUBT inspiring and gives so much hope that my boys will be ok… thank you, Frank. #TheCircle"

One fan expressed their desire for Frank to win after learning what he has been through his life: "Frank has taken so many L's over the years in his personal life I would really like to see him win #thecirclenetflix #thecircle"

The social worker from Maryland stood out right away because of his enormous enthusiasm and confidence. He considers himself to be a body-positive individual. Despite the stigma associated with people of а higher frame, he feels confident in his body "becаuse why shouldn’t I be?” In a private conversation with Imani (played by Trevor), Frank also discusses how tough it is for someone his size to date in the LGBT community. He admitted that he used to settle because he didn't believe he was worth it, but now that he's more confident than ever, he's simply waiting for the world to give him what he deserves. Imani compliments Frank on his newfound self-confidence. Imani goes on to remark that it's difficult to dislike Frank because of who he is.

After their private chat, fans were quick to appreciate Frank and Imani's bond (even though she's a catfish profile). One of them tweeted: "This Frank and Imani connection >>>>>>> I hope Frank and Trevor develop a real friendship outside of this, #TheCircle #TheCircleNetflix"

Another fan quoted their conversation and wrote: "When Imani/Trevor said, “If you don't like this guy, you don't have a soul. That's how I feel”, I felt it! @franknthecity
is indeed a #GiganticRayOfSunshine Frank has shown me how to be self-confident and TRUE to myself. #TheCircle #TheCircleNetflix #thecircleseason4"

As we approach the Season 4 finale of 'The Circle,' four of the season's finalists have been confirmed: Frank, Yu Ling, Rachel, and Imani (aka Trevor) will all be battling for the $150,000 top prize. They'll be joined by either Nathan (aka Alex) or Everson, but we go by the fans on social media, Frank has already been crowned the winner.
