Lifetime Movies is all set to make festive season even merrier as the network has announced the release of 'The Christmas Yule Blog' a film starring Sara Canning and Zak Santiago in the lead role. The film will premiere on Friday, November 6 on Lifetime Movies.

The film will release on Lifetime Movies on Friday, November 6, at 8 PM ET.

Plot

The official synopsis of the film reads, "Carolina Williams, a well-known social media travel writer, is given the assignment to cover a hundred-year-old Christmas parade in the small town of Carte De Amor, New Mexico. Not excited about the assignment, Caroline goes anyway and meets a high school music teacher, Oscar® Ortiz, who introduces her to a side of Christmas that she has never seen, with different traditions and meanings. In the twelve days before Christmas, Caroline falls in love with Christmas all over again and finds true love for herself."

Born on July 14, 1987, Sara Canning starred on CW's TV show, 'The Vampire Diaries as Jenna Sommers and also appeared in the 2009 feature 'Black Field'. She played the character of Dylan Weir in the TV show, 'Primeval: New World' and of Dr. Melissa Conner on the medical drama 'Remedy'. She has also appeared in the 2017 blockbuster film 'War for the Planet of the Apes'. She is also known for her character of Jacquelyn Scieszka in the Netflix TV series 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'.

Zak Santiago

Born on January 3, 1981, Zak Santiago previously used to be a successful DJ in Canada and Europe throughout the last decade. He has appeared in many television series, including 'Young Blades', 'Smallville', 'Robson Arms', 'Flight 93', 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency', 'Shut Eye', and 'The L Word'.

The film is directed by Heather Hawthorn Doyle, who has directed films like, 'Love at Sunset Terrace' (2020), 'Eat, Drink and Be Married' (2020) and 'One Week Job' (2019). The film is written by Bob Sáenz.
