'The Chi' Season 3 Episode 10: Papa and Maisha's romance has fans saying 'they're better than 30-year-olds'

At the time of writing, 'The Chi' is midway through its season finale, and one of the plotlines fans can't enough of is the relationship between Papa (Shamon Brown Jr) and Maisha (Genesis Denise Hale). The two teens have been steadily dating throughout the season and the finale finally sees them as an official couple. While the two made it to social media conversations primarily due to their chemistry and attitude, it was the cuteness they oozed that had fans talking about the duo in 'A Couple, Two, Three'

Add to this, Papa had one of the gut-wrenching experiences after his father, Pastor Stanley Jackson, was arrested for money laundering. It completely changes his outlook towards life and in support of him is Maisha as they exchange necklaces with each other's initials on it. Needless to say, Twitterati just went "aww" for the two. "#TheChi Miesha and Papa are so cute," wrote one of the fans. For those who thought this was stating the obvious, then think again as his storyline was probably one of the highlights of the season.

Over the course of the season, Papa's qualities were distinctly showcased. For starters, her was a thorough gentleman, and while that earned some sniggers and laughs from his best buddies, Kevin (Alex Hibbert) and Jake (Michael V Epps), it eventually earned their respect. Most importantly, it was enough for Maisha to love him more. "I love how Papa is such a gentleman #TheChi," read one of the comments.

One of the fans tweeted the line Maisha gave Papa when she put the chain around his neck. "Got the hottest boy in the game wearing my chain. Miasha and papa #thechi"
