Over a murderous career spanning decades, Rasmussen had killed at least six people on a spree that stretched across the United States.
He was nicknamed "The Chameleon Killer" because he made the use of several aliases, some including Robert "Bob" Evans, Curtis Mayo Kimball, Gordon Jensen, Larry Vanner and Gerry Mockerman.
