Why was 'The Challenge: Double Agents' Episode 13 cut short by 30 minutes? Upset fans hunt for reasons
'The Challenge: Double Agents' shocked viewers when it cut down its air time by 30 minutes. Ever since the new season premiered, it has been 90-minute-long episodes, commercials included. Strangely, Episode 13 was wrapped up quicker. It was "quick and to-the-point," many fans wrote on social media. While most complained, there were some who guessed that MTV may have wanted to show more of 'Ridiculousness', a series that airs right after 'The Challenge.'
This is not the first time that 'The Challenge' has ended up disappointing its fans. The last time they stretched out episodes to tease a security breach and fans got equally frustrated and disappointed. Not too many people appreciated it when the show teased a security breach for two weeks and didn't air any content related to it.

Meanwhile, fans have weighed in with their two cents about the matter. Some were evidently upset that they were being shown more of 'Ridiculousness' and less 'The Challenge'.
"Soooooo we can’t get anything better to watch other than Ridiculousness after this short ass episode???? #TheChallenge36," one wrote, while another shared: "30 minute challenge tonight. Short and to the point. 30 minutes of commercials. Now back to your 437 hour marathon of ridiculousness #MTV #TheChallenge36." One more said, "Why the f was the Challenge cut short? To show more Ridiculousness? Nobody on this planet wants more Ridiculousness, that show should be cancelled #TheChallenge36."
"This episode is short as it is but they are really trying to fill up this hour. Commercial every 2 minutes. #TheChallenge36 #TheChallengeDoubleAgents," another pointed out. "So we get our elimination it out last week and this week we only get an hour episode?! What happened to a hour and a half?! #TheChallenge36," a user tweeted.

Our guesses are fans wanted to see more of the drama that may have ensued after Nany Gonzalez infiltrated Aneesa Ferreira and Fessy Shafaat's team to pick the latter as her new partner. Aneesa and Nany have been friends for a long time now, they even had a conversation about this where Aneesa shared how she felt about Nany choosing Fessy as her next partner. But Nany did what she had to. Will this shocker of a change impact their friendship or will Aneesa let it go because it's just a game? Only time will tell.
