LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Boys' Season 4 debuted its first three episodes on Thursday, June 13, on Prime Video, sparking a theory about Sister Sage's secretive intentions involving Ryan, the son of Homelander.

Sister Sage, the latest addition to The Seven, was recruited by Homelander, who sought Earth's smartest individual for his sinister schemes.

However, it's unlikely that Sister Sage is aiding Homelander out of goodwill alone; her motives seem to run deeper, possibly targeting Ryan.

The new season picks up after 'The Boys' Season 3, with the team focused on stopping Victoria Neuman's bid to become Vice President.

Meanwhile, Butcher secretly schemes against Homelander, while Homelander focuses on expanding 'The Seven,' introducing Sister Sage in the first three episodes of the season.

Sister Sage has become deeply embedded in The Seven, playing a covert role in the first three episodes by secretly aiding Homelander in his campaign against the Starlighters. However, her motivations remain unclear.

Despite her apparent disdain for Homelander and other members like The Deep and Firecracker, Sister Sage inexplicably supports Homelander's agenda.

Despite initially resisting joining 'The Seven,' Sister Sage eventually acquiesces to Homelander's plan, seemingly rejecting the fame associated with being part of the team.

This suggests that her decision to assist Homelander is driven by motives not yet revealed to viewers.

As Homelander's son, Ryan is being groomed to join the prestigious superhero team, with both Homelander and Sister Sage actively shaping his public image.

Homelander has secured a spot for Ryan on 'The Seven,' highlighting Vought's accelerated plans for his superhero career.

Sister Sage plays a pivotal role in Ryan's transformation into a public superhero, suggesting her motives may hinge on his development.

She was instrumental in orchestrating Ryan's first heroic act and had a hand in choosing his superhero costume, underscoring her desire to influence Ryan's rise as Vought's next iconic Supe.

Despite her involvement, Sister Sage has resisted certain aspects of Vought's strategy for Ryan. She prefers that Ryan's identity not be overshadowed by his connection to Homelander, advocating instead for Ryan to have his distinct superhero narrative.

This suggests that Sister Sage's ultimate aim might be to steer Ryan away from his father's villainous influence.

Are Sister Sage's true intentions to protect Ryan or to pursue a sinister agenda?

During the pitch meeting for Ryan's superhero identity, Sister Sage makes a curious remark hinting at her thoughts about him. She mentions her belief that Ryan will 'save the world,' a sentiment she sees as unique among other supes.

This comment suggests that Sister Sage sees Ryan playing a significant role in the future of 'The Boys' universe. While it could be interpreted as her motivation to protect him, there's a lingering suspicion that her intentions might not be entirely benign.

Given Sister Sage's earlier discussion with The Deep, where she aligns herself with Supe supremacy, her interest in Ryan could stem from his status as the first naturally-born Supe in this world.

She may be seeking to study Ryan closely, possibly to understand how to create more naturally born supes.

While this remains speculative, history shows most members of The Seven in 'The Boys' are morally dubious, making it unlikely that Sister Sage is an exception.

Is Sister Sage's real plan to overthrow Homelander using Ryan?

There's a possibility that Sister Sage is good, and her plans diverge from Homelander's in future episodes.

Her interest in Ryan might solely be about protecting him from Homelander. Sister Sage could see Ryan's growing fame as dangerous, fearing Homelander's jealousy could lead to harm.

Ryan, being a naturally born Supe, is also a target for Homelander and Vought, something Sister Sage wants to prevent.

Sister Sage might ally with Ryan to safeguard his goodness, using him later in the season against Homelander and Vought.

Ryan's powers make him one of the few supes capable of challenging Homelander, a belief shared by Jeffrey Dean Morgan's new character in 'The Boys.'

Ryan is pivotal in 'The Boys' Season 4, and Sister Sage may be the latest to seek to use him for her agenda.
