'The Blacklist' Season 8 Episode 1 Preview: Will Liz and Ressler hook up? Red's illness has fans dying of suspense
'The Blacklist' has been one of the staple procedurals of NBC's. The show, which made its debut in 2013 and has since then garnered a staggering fan base. After suffering delays in production like other shows and films, 'The Blacklist' is returning on November 13, and fans just cannot wait to see what new hell unfolds in the latest installment. The synopsis of the series as per NBC reads: "With his back against the wall, Raymond Reddington (James Spader) faces his most formidable enemy yet: Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). For starters, apart from wondering whether we will finally understand what's ailing Red, will we also see Liz and Ressler give it a shot? There's no doubt that Ressler has had feelings for Liz since Season 1. However, she chose Tom over him and he was a bit sore about that, considering he hasn't had the greatest luck when it comes to romance. Tom is dead, Liz is now an agent. She is now partners with Ressler. The two of them have been keeping it formal in Season 7, and fans have been waiting for something to brew between them. Well, Season 8 could be that new beginning for Liz and Ressler.
Along with this hopeful romance, there's also a question of what's happening with Red, and whether this season is the last we'll see of him. His illness has been teased for a while now, and fans are dying of suspense.
