LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 2022 was a great year for TV and we saw a lot of new shows with riveting storylines. One of the shows that left everyone flabbergasted was FX’s comedy-drama series ‘The Bear’ starring Jeremy Allen White in the lead role. The series primarily focuses on a young chef named Carmen Berzatto (White) who has made a name for himself in the fine-dining world. However, his world turns upside down when he gets to know about his older brother’s suicide and returns home. His brother has left behind a lot of debts behind and is forced to run his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop in order to pay debts. The series went on to become one of the most-watched series of the year and got nominated for several accolades. So, it’s not surprising that the show has been renewed for Season 2 and will have more episodes than the previous edition.

FX recently announced that ‘The Bear’ will return early this summer with Season 2 and have 10 episodes this time around, meaning viewers will get to watch the adventures of Carmen and Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) for two more episodes during the second season.

The cast and creators of ‘The Bear’ were also present at this year’s Television Critics Association’s 2023 winter tour and opened up about what viewers can expect from Season 2 of the show. Creator Christopher Storer didn’t give away many details about the upcoming season but didn’t shy away from saying that Season 2 will be all about building a restaurant.

While appearing on the panel, Storer said, “In terms of Season 2, you’re gonna see them build a restaurant. They think they’re starting from a healthy place like a lot of other businesses but it just creates the same amount of problems and the same amount of headaches every day. So we see them have to step up in different ways.  In some ways, they’ll regress but hopefully, they’ll ultimately come back together to open this thing by a very specific date.”
