‘The Bachelorette’: Why did Ed go to Chris Harrison’s room in the night? Fans charmed by host's 'bromance'

We wouldn't know if this Ed visit was scripted or the host really woke up to a surprise visit

Whether every suitor had an opportunity to spend time with Tayshia Adams or not, Ed managed to conclude his night with a drink in the host Chris Harrison's room. Interesting, isn't it? Perhaps, this was one moment that headlined the latest, November 23, episode of 'The Bachelorette' and the host has clearly sidelined the suitors. 

Ed realizes late that he couldn't spend enough time with Tayshia, so he plans on surprising her by visiting her at her room in the night. But, when he knocks on the door, a few moments later, Chris answers it. The surprised host asks what Ed was up to during that time of the night when Ed tells him that he thought it was Tayshia's room. 

The awkward moment turns more bizarre when Chris invites Ed in for a drink. In the later segment, they are seen sipping on a drink and discussing how weird it would if they showed up in each other's houses in the middle of the night. Ed even tells Chris that the suitors often joke about showing up Chris's room randomly. 

We wouldn't know if this Ed visit was scripted or the host really woke up to a surprise visit but after an intense episode that witnessed the exchange of serious conversations, the viewers seem to have enjoyed Ed and Chris's on-screen chemistry. Many of them have noted on Twitter that Ed has a better connection with Chris than Tayshia and have also opined that Chris is more entertaining than the suitors. 

One fan wrote, "Ed has had more screen time and chemistry with Chris Harrison than Tayshia  #TheBachelorette", another added, "Ed landing at Chris Harrison’s suite is just perfection " One user tweeted, "I feel like the only reason Ed is still here is because of Chris Harrison #TheBachelorette" One fan joked, "After seeing Ed and Chris I think we need show called Bachelor Pad where we find Chris Harrison bromances #TheBachelorette" Seconding the above tweet one wrote, "Chris Harrison and Ed is the bromance I didn’t know I needed #TheBachelorette"
