Tayshia Adams of 'The Bachelorette' has insisted on the suitors being "honest" and pouring themselves out to her from the start. Furthermore, she was being called one of the most "serious" bachelorettes for her approach towards the show and in terms of finding a life partner.

However, in the latest, December 1 episode, Zac gets a one-one with Tayshia. Before meeting him, Tayshia says she is a little apprehensive and also excited to spend time with Zac as she's only been with "younger men". Zac looks forward to using the date as an opportunity to open up to Tayshia. During the date, when Tayshia asks Zac about his life so far, he opens up about surviving a brain tumor, his struggles with addiction, and more.  When Zac first mentions his diagnosis, Tayshia asks him if he "was scared".

Tayshia's reaction to Zac's confrontation didn't sit well the viewers. One tweeted, "Can't believe Tayshia went to sleep "on a high" after Zac bared his addiction struggles to her. #TheBachelorette" another added, "zac- “i was on drugs and partying out of control and in rehab stealing from my dad and my wife left me” Tayshia- zac has all the qualities i’m looking for in a man  @tayshia#TheBachelorette #TheBacheloretteABC #bachelorette #tayshia#zacc" One wrote, "*Zac shares his divorce, brain tumor & addiction* Tayshia: Here’s a rose #TheBachelorette" Another fan wrote, "Zac: I had a brain tumor Tayshia: were you scared? #TheBachelorette."

Adding to the above tweets another twitter user shared, "Controversial opinion but Tayshia has no depth. First came zero reaction to Ivan’s BLM talk, now just a blank stare as Zac talks about addiction. Sorry guys, but she can’t go beneath the surface. #TheBachelorette."

Even though the viewers don't seem convinced with Tayshia and Zac's date, the duo did garner appreciation of a few for their fake wedding shoot. It was a vulnerable moment for both Tayshia and Zac as they have gone through divorces. Meanwhile, the viewers are also rooting for them, requesting the show not to get rid of Zac after hearing his emotional life story. The next week's preview shows Zac and Tayshia sharing a few details about their past relationship and it doesn't look like it was well-received by the latter.

'The Bachelorette' airs on Tuesdays on ABC at 8 pm ET.
