LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Bachelorette' Season 20 will surely have a lot of surprises in store. The show kicked off Monday, July 3 with Episode 2, in which the singles compete for Charity Lawson's attention. As soon as Episode 2 began, ABC cut to a commercial just 5 minutes before the show aired.

The fact that the teaser aired in the middle of the show as a commercial before the release of the new episode made fans wonder why ABC was showing in advance what will happen in the entire season. When the new episode hits the screen, fans can expect romance, drama and a lot of chases to win Charity's heart. We can not wait to see who Prince Charming will be for the 27-year-old Georgia native.

Why did ABC air full scene from 'The Bachelorette' as a commercial?'

When the second episode began, ABC showed the full trailer of the show as a commercial. Instead of opting to preview and show a summary of what happened in the previous episode, ABC went the other way. The network took the opportunity to show everything that will happen in the upcoming season. This included the fights between the co-stars, romantic dates, eliminations, rose ceremonies and many more dramas. However, the trailer for the entire season is not something that usually appears as an advertisement before the release of the new episode.

'That commercial premiere!'

Seeing the detailed teaser just before the release of the new episode made a fan wonder, "Why are they showing a full scene from #TheBachelorette as a commercial exactly five minutes before the episode starts." Another one tweeted, "That stupid #TheBachelorette commercial had me thinking my tv got messed up." Another fan confused about what was happening wrote, "Oh they fighting I’m tuned in!" Another called ABC's trick "Claim to fame" by tweeting, "Wow, that was a good ad because I thought they broke in mid-show, lol! #TheBachelorette #ClaimToFame." Another uploaded a side-eye photo saying, "that commercial premier."
