‘The Bachelor’: Will Matt James eliminate Anna Redman? Suitress faces backlash for spreading ‘escort’ rumors
The January 25 episode of ‘The Bachelor’ witnessed some major drama. On one end, we had five new suitresses enter the house, while the “OG” ladies were still struggling to get alone time with Matt James, and then, speculations were ripe within the house that the new contestant, Brittany Galvin, is allegedly an “escort”. For the unversed, it was It's Anna Redman who first spoke about her fellow contestant’s profession.
Throughout the episode, Anna was heard talking about Brittany “entertaining men for money” and wasn’t hesitant to say it out loud. After saying it on camera that she and her friends were aware of Britanny’s alleged true identity, she shares the same with Victoria Larson, who was looking for more reasons to hate on the new contestant. Soon, word spread, and everybody is seen judging Brittany for something she refused to accept. When this is brought to Matt’s attention, he takes it upon himself to put an end to all the baseless accusations.
The teaser for the upcoming episode sees Matt clearly disappointed with the ladies who were responsible for spreading such rumors that could impact Brittany’s life. Although we couldn’t see the faces, he is seen helping a suitress get into the limo as she exits the show.
Meanwhile, Anna is seen apologizing for her words and looks worried about the consequences of the same. We need to wait and watch if Anna’s journey comes to an end as Matt has established that he wouldn’t entertain such behavior from his partner.
Anna’s behavior has similarly ticked several fans, who have expressed on Twitter that they want to “get rid” of her. Many have urged the show creators to “kick” her out. Only time can tell us if Anna will get to leave in peace or if she will be forced to quit.
A Twitter user wrote, "I can’t wait for Anna to be sent home. She is toxic and petty. #TheBachelor" Another wrote, "please for the love of god get rid of anna #TheBachelor". One said, "Anna should get kicked off the show for saying that about Britney. It’s just not something you say. Especially when you don’t even know it to be true. " Another tweeted, "How is this even okay to be edited and aired? Best situation, Anna lied to try to bury Brittany; worst case, she outed a sex worker on national tv. Either way, awful. #TheBachelor"
